Overview:

The Food Safety & Hygiene module is designed to fulfil the classroom-based training requirements mandated by MCA regulations, catering specifically to personnel engaged in service or galley roles on luxury yachts. Training is a crucial component of maintaining high food hygiene standards and is a legal obligation for all individuals handling food. This qualification is imperative for both chefs and stewardesses working on board.

 Certification:

A Food Safety & Hygiene Level II certificate is issued to students attending our course which is in line with the following regulations: MARITIME LABOUR CONVENTION, 2006: This course is certified by Award in Food Safety in Catering level 2 (RQF)- QNUK Annex 1 of MSN 1846 (M). All these qualifications are classroom based followed by an assessment. Level 2 is the minimum acceptable level for catering staff and persons processing food in the galley Certificate by awarded body MCA approved 603/0816/3 QNUK Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering (RQF) Qualification Network QNUK

 Details to take note of:

Once you have purchased the course you will be enrolled and gain access to the online platform to undertake your self study and complete assessments. You will also be required to attend the class either in person or Live stream. Once the students have done all the work on the online platform, and attended the class, they will demonstrate their knowledge in a final exam. After a successful exam, they will obtain an official diploma.

 Assessment process:

Assessment Criteria is achieved through the assessment process of practical demonstrations by applying skills, supported by Assessments through final exams and assignments testing.
