  • Target Audience: Crew and staff on luxury yachts with security roles, also applicable to personnel on cargo vessels, offshore platforms, and cruise ships with similar duties.
  • Certification: Approved by the UK Department for Transport Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA), this course complies with the 2010 Manila Amendments and STCW Code Section A-VI/6, paragraphs 6 to 8. Ensure your yacht’s administration accepts MCA certification.
  • Learning Objectives:
    • Understand the importance of ship security and the roles of involved parties.
    • Identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
    • Grasp the use and limits of security equipment and methods.
