Description

Objectives:  

In this course, you will learn theoretical and practical bases to learn the basics cocktails as well as basic techniques of international cocktails, Study of the products and families of Alcoholic Beverages, Spirits Vodka, Gin, Rum, Tequila and Whisky, basic introduction to wine, its origins, varieties and rituals followed by for wine service onboard a Superyacht.

Schedule: 

The course focuses on practical experience using a range of quality equipment. Training notes are provided—complete Set of Bar utensils per student. Includes theoretical and student notes during the course.

Assessment process:

Assessment Criteria is achieved through the assessment process of practical demonstrations by applying skills, supported by Assessments through written exams, discussion testing or assignment testing.

Prerequisites: 

  • 18 years old and over
  • Food & safety level II (MCA approved)
  • Experience Basic bar service knowledge.
  • At least 1 season experience as a Stewardess
  • English fluent

Certificate: 

The training includes a certificate of completion awarded by Barcelona Crew academy, the Guest Program and the Professional yachting association. PYA.
